Fridge? Never stored potatoes in the fridge myself tbh. My thinking was just use potatoes left over from what I would have eaten that have started going a little soft and sprouting roots.

Thinking of growing some this year. I know some places say not to use supermarket potatoes but garden centre seed potatoes cost like 10 times as much and are essentially just old potatoes. Also heard they can be treated with stuff to prevent them growing. They are still growing so it clearly didn’t work
I don’t even know what a wood shop would look like. B&Q or Wickes sell timber but I think it’s a fairly limited selection, mostly just different size/shapes of softwoods.
Their money doesn’t really come from selling hardware though. I mean they sell a bit but it’s a pretty small portion of their business
Then I won’t play it
You know I am starting to think going to the library is a better idea than buying their products. You can literally just walk in.
You can choose not to buy polyester clothing. Most of mine is cotton.
I just wish my partner wouldn’t leave wooden chopping boards or spoons soaking in water overnight. Want to get a somewhat decent one but I know it’s inevitable.
Maybe I should just buy some nice hardwood board and cut one to size and use that as a choppig board. A lot cheaper than buying something labelled as a chopping board.
I mostly use it for wordy things like filing out review forms HR make us do and writing templates for messages to customers
They know pornhub still exists right?
Have they stopped that now? I remember being in it at one point. I didn’t post and didn’t really look at it
I take the stairs because you can’t take the escalator with a bike but I can easily carry my bike up the stairs. Well, at least when other people don’t crowd around me then complain when they get smacked in the shin by a pedal. Like wtf did you think would happen? I am clearly carrying a bike and it’s not exactly soft.
Why throw out perfectly good clothes? Trousers I am wearing now are a little faded on the edges but still perfectly good to wear after a few years. I think my newest trousers are a year old. Few t-shirts have started getting small holes worn through so might replace them at some point.
It’s odd to realise other people can also be gamers and I may not even be aware of the games they play, can’t even remember the last ubisoft or EA game I bought. Maybe for EA it might be battle for middle earth. Do they make battlefield? Think I got 3 in a humble bundle and some other games.
Why would Moore’s law matter here for an operating system? Also both are far older than 24 months.
How could they do it though? For already released games there is nothing they can do. Even future games they don’t have direct control over most as they don’t own the games. Banning steam from Windows and require using the Windows store perhaps? I think that is basically Windows in S mode.
Then why haven’t they?
Those kinds of people probably wouldn’t be able to deal with issues in Windows either. Just teach them how to install the OS and start firefox. If it completely breaks at some point tell them to install the OS again.
I first heard about this kind of thing a couple of decades ago. Pretty sure biofuel is more efficient though.
