The petition is supposed to fix the dumpster fire. Also, I don’t think Twitter is a dumpster fire before Elon’s purchase…
You are still a boiling frog. If you continue to do nothing against Elon and be a boiling frog, you will regret it. That’s why I post these petitions. Also, I don’t think these petitions are useless.
I agree with this.
Absolutely not. Don’t you know that the entire Twitter community is suffering from the “boiling frog” syndrome?
I think they are.
I understand that was a sarcasm, but I’m still unhappy that Elon still owns the company and ruining Twitter while people trying hard to stop him.
To save Twitter from being destroyed by Elon Musk (we’re serious).
No one is compelled to do a damn thing because people took 39 seconds to fill out a name on a website. Especially when those names aren’t checked against a census. Meaning, they can be easily faked.
Faking your name violates the site’s community guidelines.
But he still owns it and has control over the company as chairman and has made many bad changes to Twitter. Maybe the petition should be repurposed to remove him from Twitter completely.
A petition to remove Elon from Twitter is not like that. It’s an important petition to save the world’s most useful social networking service. Also, you should stop thinking that Change.org is a bad website (while we see some stupid nonsense petitions).
And we have to stop him. We want to remove Elon from Twitter.
That’s not a good option. It’s too India-oriented.
That doesn’t make sense.
But the company is still under EM’s control. This sucks.
Don’t be anti-Twitter! That’s not what we intended.
It’s not useless. You should read this: https://www.change.org/impact
No, we shouldn’t be anti-Twitter because we’re anti-Musk (and this petition too).
I don’t think these anti-Musk petitions are for avoiding Mastodon; it could be done along with using Mastodon.
Has change.org ever actually changed anything?
Yes. You should read this: https://www.change.org/impact
Has anyone ever investigated it for data mining?
What does that mean?
Do we even need to stop using Twitter? If we don’t take action against Musk, the platform will collapse and a lot of memorable tweets will be lost.
Stop using Twitter won’t solve the problems we currently have on Twitter, such as more frequent downtime, false positives of rule violations leading to account suspensions, and most importantly, the disruptive changes Musk has forced, including the rebranding to X.
Resigning Musk from Twitter could be a chance to undo the mistakes Musk has made at Twitter. If you feel negative about these petitions to remove Musk from Twitter/X, you are half pro-Musk.
Also, stop thinking that change.org is spam.org, you should read this: https://www.change.org/impact
