The large amount of foreign nationals being exploited due to their illegal status and working in unsafe underpaid jobs is something I’m against from a pro labor position.

The employees who hire and exploit them need to be punished. Who will do this job for the tiny wages? I guess nobody, the wages must go up. More expensive avocados is what we need to settle for, instead of exploiting desperate foreign nationals. There are no easy painless solutions here.

Arab League countries have attack Israel many times with conventional war and covert terrorism. They also openly state they want Israel destroyed.

Israel has a massive military advantage over its surrounding neighbors. If Israel wanted the destruction of Jordan and Yemen, for example, just as much as Jordan and Yemen want the destruction of Israel… the IDF could wipe them out. But they don’t.

That combined with the fact that tens of thousands of Arab Muslims live and work in Tela Viv while no Jew can openly live in Jordan or Yemen tells you which side is trying to wipe someone out.

Yes, IDF is going way too far in Gaza now and they need to back off.

But they are in a very difficult situation due to being surrounded by fanatical enemies.

Hamas just rejected the 45 day ceasefire this past April

They also rejected the disarmament proposal in April

There is one on the table now mediated by the US which involves 60 day ceasefire, 10 hostages released and increased aid. Israel ageeed, waiting on Hamas now

Israel actually has the ability to kill all the people in those countries as they have air superiority and nuclear weapons. Of course they don’t do it.

To me Plan Dalet sounds like a very logical preparation Israelis would enact for the obvious massive Arab attack on them.

Just a cursory knowledge of middle eastern history makes it obvious that Arabs would instantly attack any Jewish state near them. And they did, repeatedly.

It is my understanding that the Jews of modern day Israel are totally willing to live and work side by side with Palestenians and Arab Muslims. This is proven to me by the tens of thousands of Muslims living in Tela Viv - Yafo

The same cannot be said about the countries surrounding Israel, a Jewish population cannot live there due to the extreme danger they would face. There is probably 100 or less jews total combined in Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon. The rest all fled from major persecution or were killed.

The only reason the above countries do not go into Israel right now and kill every Jewish person there is because they are not able to militarily.

The Arab Muslim world cannot stand Jews and want them all killed. The Palestenians are in the unfortunate position of being right on the border of this one way conflict and are used as pawns by Hamas leaders who live comfortably in Qatar.

The Arab counter attack?

During the first phase of that war, the Civil War from November 47 to May 14, 1948 it was Arab militias that attacked Jewish communities.

During the second phase of that war, it was the Arab League that invaded Israel on May 15, 1948

Imagine if the Arab states never invaded from the beginning and just were ok with Jews existing next door to them.

We know the Jews would have been ok with Arab Muslim states existing next to them as there are currently many Arab Muslims living and working in Tela Viv.

The second Israwl was established just about all the countries in that region attacked it right away.

Israel won and took some buffer territory around it just in case all these countries would decide to invade it again. All those countries ended up trying to invade Israel two more times (6 day war and Yom Kipur War)

It is very unfortunate what happened to the people displaces by these wars. The Arab League shouldn’t have tried to wipe Israel off the map in the first place.
