Exactly. They fumbled hard. “It has to be your ____, there’s no way it turned out that good naturally.”
He was just a Fledditor. Living in a Lemmy woooorld.

I, too, have unskipable cutscenes over my special interests.
Also, Revive the Thorn/Thurs!
I tried to have something else lined up each time, but tbh the financial hit from quitting a job where I was overworked was not nearly as bad as how I felt after my job each day. If you have some skills, offer to do oddjobs. Offer to detail friend’s cars, mow lawns, and pump up the quantity of applications.
Easy to figure out? But that plays right into their scheme of making the other party look like they were comitting fraud. /s
Agree. Not enough info for me to judge. Maybe Lemmings shouldn’t make this site into one for snap judgements and witch hints.
Doing the same here for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
I’m not well versed in how Denuvo works, only in how it tanks performance. Does anyone know if there is anything stopping Denuvo from checking purchase validity the first time, and on subsequent game launches it can access a secure folder with a file like an internet cookie saying “yeah, this game was bought legit at one point, let it run” and then not run alongside the game?
I don’t have a speaker when I bike, only seen it with others.
Thank you for sharing; yeah, that would be really irritating. Maybe I’m just lucky I’ve never experienced the same intensity.
Ok, I do get that, but what about if it is below conversational volume? Does it still bother you the same?
Aight, someone explain their point of view please. What level of volume severity have you commenters experienced? Someone listening to something has never bothered me, but it also has never been loud enough I can’t have a conversation with someone. Most restaurants play music louder than I hear from a stranger’s speakers. I don’t get what is rude about it. Even the Everett True comic below, several of you are that on edge about a person whistling or humming to themself?
I have scared people with my bike bell before. They almost ended up more in my path. Speakers seem like a better solution to me.
Huh. I only see posting history in the US Auth instance.
Completely legal might be a bit of a stretch, but yes, I agree. It feels like most officers have more crazy stuff to handle in a day that they don’t want to take the time out of their day for smaller violations in my town. Around here you don’t get pulled over for only ten over.
Thank you, Ricky Rigatoni. This is why we always seek your wise council.
Ok, surely we have to be in a media bubble by this point right? I know Lemmy leans left, but still. Where are the articles quoting non-fabricated stuff Democrats have said that makes them look bad? It can’t be that I only see atricles quoting Republican politicians because only they say the dumbest, brain-worm hot takes out loud, right?
Ohh, that and local proximity chat or server chat is a touchy subject these days. I’d love to see more communication in games. The recent ping systems have been a good start, but having more character eexpression like in Mordhau or Chivalry 2 would be nice. Make your characters say things in R6 Siege would be particularly interesting.
That’s fair. I love the gunplay of Apex (and can ignore all the battlepass monetization) but I could never just goof around in that game like I could in Halo 3 multiplayer, Planetside2, or TF2. I often ended up back in the queue after matching with people with thousands more hours of expierience. The alternative gamemodes were the most fun because I got to have fun while losing, which is less of the focus in today’s shooters due to the super high skill ceilings. Competative games are mostly made with professional teams in mind now. That’s what I want a return to and why I like Helldivers 2 so much.
Not only that, but the competative multiplayer scene is dominated by games appealing to professional game teams with high skill ceilings. Excuse me game devs; I have 1hr and 12min to play and I’d rather goof around than try to learn map layouts.
There is not much else to say. I got a text from “my bank” that a payment was due. They shorthanded the bank name, spoofed the correct area code, and even knew my normal payment date. Nothing is sacred and that’s the new reality.
