I believe NHK does have English commentary, which helps a lot! I usually watch on Twitch, which is good because you can ask questions in chat, but it’s difficult to watch live from certain time zones.

Sumostew’s YouTube channel is also a good place to learn although she doesn’t do live coverage of the tournament.
