My understanding is you can transfer save files between consoles and PC. But in coop you can only play with other people on the same platform you’re currently on.

I also got this game around it’s release for ps2! I got it as a gift for a family member but they weren’t into it so I just took it for myself lol. I’ve come back to it every few years, but never tried or even heard of that mod, I’m excited to try it out!
Ita fine if you don’t like it, but the people who do certainly aren’t torturing theirselves.
I worked for a grocery chain in south east America called, Publix. Every year they have a big meeting about United Way, a large organization that accepts donations to then handpick what charities the money goes to. Overall I have no problem with united way, it solves the question “what should I donate to”. What i didn’t like was that Publix handed out forms at the end of the meeting heavily suggesting how much money from each paycheck should be donated to united way. It was just a big guilt trip. They kept track of which location donated the most and proudly patted theirselves on the back. Like every other corporation we weren’t paid enough and overworked. Prices climbed higher and the CEO got richer. When I was up for promotion my manager said it would look better if I donated more money per paycheck. Why the fuck would he be able to see that? Why the fuck would that be a factor as to whether I got promoted?
It’s by far been one of if not the best way to reach their audience for well over a decade. RSS feeds might be well used by lemmy users, but you don’t really think most people get their news that way? Or even know how to use RSS, or what it is. I’ve got friends and family members who have never owned a personal computer, but they have accounts on all the biggest social media platforms.
The article says that the Australian government is leaving it to the social media platforms to implement the age verification process themselves and that they can face fines if they don’t. Assuming that a company has no physical servers running in Australia, is there any reason they need to pay any attention to this? Aside from their platform bring outright banned I suppose. I’ve had debates on lemmy about whether a website operates in other countries just because it is accessible or not. If a lemmy instance based outside of Australia fails to implement age verification, should they be worried about being fined? Will the majority of the fediverse(assuming the majority don’t implement this) be banned in Australia?
I’m barely older than you’re marriage but McDonald’s was a very different vibe when I was a kid. I still wouldn’t say anything to shame people going to McDonald’s for a first date today.
It’s a fine video, but doesn’t have anything to do with sacrificing story or content. It’s about adding something to an already shit product. Maybe I misinterpreted your original post?
I’m not sure how else to interpret your own quote
What exactly do you think needs to be sacrificed when deciding a character is gay?
That’s not how lying works. If you make a claim and it’s not true, it’s a lie, even if it is true later
“Liberalism is a mental disorder” These people are very telling how they treat people who they think legitimately have mental illness.
My textbook on Norton has all the text in <p> tags if you inspect the page. It’s annoying to have to go to such lengths to copy text, but it works.
What are your thoughts of the word, “awful”?
Perhaps assumed OPs family cared enough to pay them
Were they testing those ads on users that paid for an ad free premium or were they testing on users that bought a lower tier?
Some older ps2 games like monster inc and finding Nemo sell for like $100 last I saw. Before they mastered them for modern consoles, kingdom hearts was about $60 for ps2
I loved this remake. I played the first one when I was about 12? Looking back that seems very young but it was one of the only games I completed at that age. I didn’t have internet in my room at the time so I printed the walk through from I think gamefaq lol. Had it holepunched and stored in a ring binder. Over 20 years later and it was really fun remembering events and areas in this remake even if they were slightly redesigned.
That’s how kids were taught to think when I was in school. Did you get something wrong on your first try? You’re a failure! Take your F and move on, you’re not allowed to try again unless you fail your entire grade level. 12 years of my school system taught many people to have that ego you mentioned, myself included. I graduated high school 10 years ago and still struggle accepting my failures. I have to remind myself that in real life I can actually learn from my mistakes. Unfortunately many people never have that realization.
I just started the first one, took me a few tries to really get into it but I’m enjoying it a lot now. I feel like it’s a little bit harder to get into all the lore compared to something like dragon age or elder scrolls. But the gameplay is amazing
