You all should pull out. It’s obviously a scam of the ~1% holding 90% financial markets. They’re draining your money. How can the economy provide a livable retirement in the future when it can’t provide a livable present?

Okay, maybe I don’t know the quality of the apartments you live in because when I want quiet time for me, I just stay in my flat. A simple brick wall is enough to shield from almost anything. Or maybe the society you live in is very different from the society I live in. I actually enjoy seeing and talking to the people that live around me.

And well, the thread is about people preferring single family houses in the US. Those houses on their oversized properties are often completely excluded from any form of community. I feel like this type of lifestyle makes us more and more sociophobic.

In the details, for walkable cities and for the environment, I’m pretty sure there’s a very comfortable middle ground for everyone. We don’t need the density of cities like Paris or Jakarta. But we also don’t need eight football fields of land for a single person, or do we?

We are more than eight billion people, and I am confident that the majority of us people want to live in a world with clear rules based on some form of justice and not on fickle power.

If you want to be a peasant, it’s your choice. If you are a US citizen, I think you should grow some balls and stop this gang of bullies from ruining your country and the whole world.

As a grown-up, with family, friends and influence, I am doing my part to make sure that this is not our future. I am not allowing the crazy guy with the gun to take control over the world. And you shouldn’t do that either.

Sorry but this is the most lunatic comment I’ve seen in a while. Why be careful with anything right? Let’s bring back lead, CFCs and all the stuff we have band because we were careful.

Fact is, Nucular is extremely expensive, hard to control, dangerous and still has no real waste solution. People pushing for it either just repeat influencers with no own original thought or hoping to make a dollar on the massive subsidies the governments will have to invest, if this becomes a reality.

Sorry I made a mistake. English isn’t my first language. What I meant was: Violence should never be an option. And if you think it’s okay to throw a brick at a random person without provocation because you can’t distinguish between real people, abstract identity groups and news from all around the world, then you’re wrong.

Totally. It was the greatest country I could think of in the 90s but now it feels much like a low quality, low opportunity, no future hellhole 😢
