Based on what we’ve heard from Red Bull he’s off the pace in the sim as well. I think it’s just the fact Red Bull aren’t confident in his ability yet. Doesn’t make a lot of sense to throw him in the car with no practice in a real car for quite awhile compared to Yuki and Lawson as well.

I can’t say I’ve seen that mentioned anywhere? He had options with teams and turned them down or wanted too much money.
Based on what we’ve heard from Red Bull he’s off the pace in the sim as well. I think it’s just the fact Red Bull aren’t confident in his ability yet.
