The latest icon in TestFlight is gorgeous! I am loving the mountain iceberg 😍 is there anyway we can get a few variations though? I would love to get that mountain on a orange or reddish background if that’s simple to do 🙏

Currently Arctic is closed source, but I am working towards open sourcing the project. Primarily I just need to clean it up and do some organizing before releasing the source code.
On that note though, I do have the sketch project for all of the included icons and branding. I don’t mind sharing that. I’ll push that to GitHub soon. I would like to host community icon contests, so that would be a good starting point.
Awesome, thank you!
I took some time last night and organized all the artwork projects to prepare for this. I just need to set up the repo now. I’ll probably release them with an update during the weekend.
Any updates on this one? 🙏 I know I know… Totally a first world problem moment… The new Mystic Globe is nice but I was really hoping for something more variant, like a red or orange, my main wallpaper is purple 🥲
Btw, I am loving the new open in Arctic feature! It works well so far 😍
Wow 14 new icons in the latest one, you are a freaking machine!!! Frigid Sunrise is exactly what I was hoping for 😍😍😍 thank you so much 🙌🙌🙌
Yeah, they are not all winners, but some of them came out quite nice. I was really struggling to get the gradient right with the orange ones, so I’m glad you like it!
Wow. If you do make this open source, that would put Arctic among one of my favourite iOS apps 😍
That’s the plan. I’ve always wanted to open source the project being as that is highly sought after in the fediverse, and in general I’m a big supporter of FOSS. Early on, I did not plan to take Arctic this far, and thus the architecture of the project as become rather bloated. I’d like to take some time and refine the code base before making it public.
Understandable. Will be a great piece for a resume, but also, hope you get lots of tips 😍
