I’ve never shot that particular bow, but Bear Cruzers, Stingers, etc. in that price range are very good for beginners IMO. The price point is attainable, the quality is good enough (ie safe and reliable), and it’s just a fun bow to take out and shoot whenever the mood hits. They’re adjustable to fit almost anyone and grow with people as they grow or refine their form and technique. If you’re set on shooting compound, I think this is a fine way to go. Even better if you have a local range that offers rental equipment and lessons and start there.
