I read that autism comes with repetitive behavior and restricted interests, so what do you think?
What exactly limits your behavior like my own?
OP, this is like the fifth time I’ve seen you do this: you need to stop putting “like me” in your questions.
Nobody knows you. Nobody knows what you’re like.
Just ask your question, don’t put a personal spin on it. Or if you do want a personal spin, explain what you’re like first, then ask if anyone else does the same thing.
Explaining your question in the post would be a good idea.
Good idea.
I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re asking, so I’d like to try flipping the question around - what would you say limits your own behaviour? I think hearing your answer would help me to both understand the question and to highlight potential differences in what limits us.
Too personal.
You asked the rest of us the same thing?
I started out trying to interpret your oddly posed question in good faith, but now I’m realising that it was perhaps misplaced. I don’t think that the way that you have come into this community and made this post is appropriate — something that neurotypicals often seem to forget is that autistic people are, first and foremost, people, and we have preferences and boundaries and opinions like any other person does, even if we may communicate those opinions in an idiosyncratic manner.
Did you not think, when asking your question, that if you felt it was too personal for you to feel comfortable answering, that perhaps it wasn’t appropriate to ask?
It’s not the first time OP has done this shit either.
I find a behaviour limiter works.
Where can I buy one of these
At your local essential oils peddler.
Oh nice, they cured my autism with lemongrass last year which is pretty cool
Kryptonite.
… Or maybe a mix of anxiety and depression. One of the two.
I dislike being noticed. Getting attention especially from people I do not know is extremely uncomfortable for me. (Online is significantly less problematic compared to physically)
This limits what I do in a general sense
Physics, neurochemistry, society, imagination?
Too vague. I don’t know what you’re really asking for. Please clarify.
What limits your behavior as an autistic?
All the things I said and much more. Roughly speaking, all the things that limit everyone’s behavior.
Anxiety, resting need, self esteem issues, trauma, headaches, need to keep my hands clean (and not touching anything clean if hands are dirty)
The potential consequences
