A quick reminder that aa is basically Erdogan’s personal propaganda channel. I’m not saying anything against this specific article. Just a reminder for the future.
Thanks for pointing this out!
This article is terrible too though. The entire article is a tweet clarifying that the judgment doesn’t represent the official government position and then… random, unnamed Twitter users talking shit. The subheading is a quote from “social media user” (a well-known authority on such matters!). I can’t find the original comment. They don’t link to any of these comments. I wonder why!
The second quote, attributed to “one Kenyan user” (though it’s just a pro-Palestinain/anti-Israeli account), is a post with 150 views and 10 likes. The final quote, by “another”, is from a post that has 25 views and zero likes. They’ve really got their finger on the pulse!
They’re just finding randos to feed you the story Erdogan wants to tell you. Tellingly, Pakistani and Iranian propaganda channels are also quoting these nobodies too.
Yeah honestly I didn’t even read the article. I just saw aa and wanted to make sure everyone is aware.
I had posted this elsewhere but feel it is relevant to your comment. It describes Erdogan’s position towards the conflict, and could provide some context to your reminder. Worth the read.

Good to know this didn’t happen. Thanks.
Unless the judge is the heir to the government, the word the headline should’ve used is “disavowed.” I understand English probably isn’t the journalist’s native language, but c’mon, if writing is your job you need to get it right.
Maybe it’s intentional. I remember reading that spam mails with lots of mistakes in them filter out everyone but the intended target audience of idiots who fall for them. This is Turkey’s state propaganda outlet, basically their Al Jazeera, so it’s not that far-fetched to think that they are filtering out people who are naive enough to post and upvote this garbage publication.
I think you just described clickbait.
chad move
! chad uganda !<
Chad is actually a separate country northwest of Uganda. Don’t think they’re involved.
The chaddest place on Earth, where everyone is a chad even the women.
Well there’s a difference in being chad and named chad isn’t it?
Woosh.
Even the Israeli judge said yes to some of the point and Uganda said No. Tells you alot about competence and questions their ethics.
