On Android there’s also Firefox Focus, a cutdown version that’s like “private” browsing all the time and clears your browsing history.

I’m just gonna ask because I’ve been wondering since forever - why do people want that on a personal device? It’s not like anyone but you is ever going to see your browser history, and having it is useful if you want to go back to something.

I guess for me it was mostly about making tracking harder by deleting cookies, but also just a desire not to accumulate junk files on the phone. Also just wanting a simple browser without too much bloat. It’s probably not necessary since other browsers have their own tracking protection, but I got into the habit of using it and hitting the delete button when I’m done. It’s quite possible I’m making tracking easier by being one of the five people who use Firefox Focus.
