NJPW needs to continue to push the new blood and bump up people like Takahashi to heavyweight to make up for losing both Okada and Ospreay in such quick order. Plus Naito’s knees are made of string cheese and Tanahashi’s whole body is held together by that weird arm/shoulder thing he wears so neither will be long for the ring either.
Worse thing is it kinda is. For westerners, EVIL and House of Bullshit is pain but the NJPW crowd/fanbase love em and they are over. (They like the occasional spattering of western style bullshit and interference and expect it of them whereas for us its a piss break).
