I broke up with my partner. Honestly for the best and I’m in a great mood. I somehow seem to find people with the lowest empathy and EQ levels possible whereas I’m very high on both and end up being their ‘support’ but if I’m not doing OK I’m a shit person.

Working on doing more exercise. Set up a home gym and trying to lose my covid weight. In a great mood and kinda love storms so it’s a win/win!

At least you’re in a positive frame of mind and moving forward in your life. Sometimes it’s a relief to end a relationship that wasn’t really doing it for you or was a replay of past mistakes.

No it’s really OK. Thank you for your concern. I provide all the support I can but when I’m not doing OK (I’ve had friends who couldn’t handle this time of year and ended their own lives…) I’m the shit person for needing my own time.

I followed the storm all the way back from Ballarat to Melbourne this afternoon and survived the M8/M1 in an unfamiliar car with worn tyres and a chatty passenger, AMA.

In unrelated news, some of you may remember the saga of soxcat and the uphill battle to get vets to believe she had ovarian remnant syndrome, not separation anxiety or a UTI or Munchausen’s by proxy on my behalf. Got in touch with her human today and guess what. They found solid proof and the original vets that desexed her removed it in an open surgery for free. It was there. It took 3 surgeons but they got it out. She is now recovered and no longer suffering and hormonal.

I am mostly very happy and relieved for sox and her human, but also, can I just gloat for a second about HOW VINDICATED I FEEL.
