What, and I can’t stress this enough, dafuq is that?
Must be a Lemmy joke you and I are too kbin to understand.
What am I looking at?
Loading spinner when posting
I’ve never seen this before, someone here said it’s a Lemmy UI loading indicator? I guess my selfhosted instance is working really well then!
What’s that?
It’s the Lemmy loading indicator. OP is saying they keep running into slow loading times, probably because their instance is overloaded.
I’ve never seen it before. I guess I’m really lucky I picked lemmy.world (mostly blindly). Sounds like it’s the best-of-all-worlds instance.
A loading indicator is fine. A loading indicator that is off-center is not fine.
Geez thanks for pointing it out.
The longer l look, the more annoyed I am
I wish it would just tell me that I can’t do it. But no, it handles problems like I do.
dammit lemmy why did you have to go and be like me
Yep, I think you might have highlighted a bug, Certain it is happening in firefox , and is not present on the android app.Have learnt to ignore it , almost always my comment has been added.
Edit yep immediately clicked on comments open new tab and my comment is here where as it is still spinning in the other tab. So probably a bug rather than overload.
You can pretty safely ignore it, it’s usually just UI lag. The only time I’ve seen it spin and not do what I told it to was when I was first trying to sign up for an account. Your comments and votes will go through.
