The Israeli government is murdering children and committing war crimes, and they’re upset about what The Onion has to say about it.

They’re also full on slaughtering the press too.

So a rundown of what they’re doing

        1. Killing 2 civilians for every 1 Hamas
        2. Killing children (50% of Gaza is under 18)
        3. Killing journalists

They’re 100% correct Hamas needs to be wiped out because Hamas wants Jews to not exist, but goddamn the ends to not justify the means.

        They’ve lost the fucking plot.

Mark my words anti-Semitism is going to continue it’s crescendo and it’s 100% because of the IDF and that asshat running Israel.

          Hamas charter excerpt.
          16. Hamas affirms that its conflict is with the Zionist project not with the Jews because of their religion. Hamas does not wage a struggle against the Jews because they are Jewish but wages a struggle against the Zionists who occupy Palestine. Yet, it is the Zionists who constantly identify Judaism and the Jews with their own colonial project and illegal entity.

Good to know they uphold this text by not publicly murdering and raping random civilians in their homes and proudly sharing the video.

The IDF also says it’s not genociding. Military groups are known for their trustworthiness

Easy propaganda is easy. The national socialists were socialists in that they wanted socialists to vote for them. Easy to say something that isn’t true, just as easy to not enforce a difference between zionists and Jews.

Does that mean Israel needs to be wiped out because they don’t want Palestinians to exist?

What did it for me to know they went waaaaaay too far was the:

-killing three of their hostages while they were holding a white flag

-a sniper killing two women inside a church affiliated with Rome

Got it, killing thousands of brown muslim babies wasn’t enough to awaken your empathy. But killing three young Jews and two Christians is where you drew your moral line.

Also interesting that the church being ‘affiliated with Rome’ was somehow a factor in this excellent judgement of your’s. Should we assume that you were fine as long as the ones killed are Christians affiliated what say, the Armenian Orthodox church? Better late than never I guess…

The reason I chose these events are very simple. They are glaringly clear events that show without a doubt the intent of killing civilians. First, the hostage situation clearly shows that they do not recognise surrender, even if they wanted.

Second, in a way akin to the United Nations, the Catholic Church is a relatively powerful institution independent from the conflicting parties that was unlikely to harbour weapons inside (even if more likely than UN facilities). However, unlike the indiscriminate UN bombings, the killing was done during the day inside the church by a sniper, again, making it glaringly clear.

Finally, at this point, most people inside churches aren’t even Christian, as most of the Christian population fled a while ago, and the people that remain are actually following the bible and harbouring those that need it.
