Not a tourist btw. Just a local citizen. It’s just that everyday, I’m stressed with work and even people (real life and social media). I want to take a breather on weekend and relax by myself but I don’t where to go. I don’t want to take a plane and travel domestically. Just somewhere in Metro Manila or Luzon.

Kung nature trip within Metro Manila, pwede mo subukan ang Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife.

Kung overnight stay gusto mo, try campsites in Tanay. Kung first time camper, try glamping offers in Airbnb sa Tanay area.

Not really a place but I’ll recommend you to read novels it’ll not take you to place physically but you’ll travel mentally, wanna go to place where book is banned and experience what it feels like? read Fahrenheit 451, wanna go to place like china where surveilance is everywhere and experience what it feels like? read 1984, wanna go to a place where beauty is upon intelligence and experience what it feels like? read The Picture of Dorian Gray

Also you’ll help the environment by reducing your carbon footprint this way

Sadly I’m not much of a book reading person. Plus, it involves me staying in the house with family members.

Well if you have issues with your family, try going to a park or mall I’ve issues with my family too napa barangay pa ako, What I do is I sojourn for hours in food court in Robinson and read there, 2 benefits, I’m forced to focus since making eye contact in food court I will be perceived as weird so my focus is completely on book, If I stay too long Guard will ask me to leave since I’m not eating so Wasting time not reading books is a no-no so I’m forced to spend my time as efficiently as possible when reading since I’ve limited time. also reading is acquired taste the first few pages is drudgery, been there, but finishing a book is satisfying, fulfilling, expensive experience that defies the quotidian boredom
