I used to browse r/all in RIF after blocking hundreds of subs that I’m not interested in. Is there any way to do something similar here?

    Blocking communities?

    Yes, you can.

Set listing to “All” and that is close to /r/all in Lemmy

If you see a community you don’t want to see press the community name and then in the upper right corner press the three dots and block.

It seems to me that the blocking is only per instance so if you have accounts on other instances you will need to block the community again.

Yes, you can block individual communities. I’ve personally blocked all of the meme groups and it has greatly improved my signal to noise ratio when browsing by all

You can block communities here as well. I’ve blocked pretty much the entire lemmygrad instance community by community. You can’t block whole instances though
