Just followed a link from !til@lemmy.ca, and came across this word. Ey! Although i had no difficulty reading it, the look of that word in sans-serif font stopped my reading. It’s ugly as fuck! 😆

My favorite word is uneven. It has an even number of vowels and consonants, they’re evenly spaced, and if you total the place of each letter, it ends up right in the middle of the alphabet.
Wow! This i would call this sooo divergent. 😄 And interesting. Do you always see words in this way, i guess not because “uneven” is just a short word, it’s easy to spot those features. So yes, this is a word that is an irony in itself. I like it!
This would fit into https://sh.itjust.works/c/neurodivergent … would you mind if i perhaps mention your comment in some post about words?
No, I dissasemble and play with words I like the feel of in my head, and feel free to share!
can you elaborate on “total the place of each letter”?
Like numerical place in the alphabet, uneven is 21-14-5-22-5-14, if you add them all up and average it’s 13.5 super close to 13, which would be even.
are you hyperlexic by any chance
Didn’t know this word til today! Honestly IDK? I read and comprehended at 12th grade level in 1st grade, but I don’t know if I meet any of the other criteria. I’m 50 and it was a very different time in my childhood.
I would think they mean the mean of the place of each of the letters in the alphabet (e.g., e = 5, s = 19).
