I’m really disgusted with the lack of control to dismiss recommendations etc. as a PAID subscriber.

The only recommendations they give is to listen to MORE to change the nature of the advertising.

I don’t want to see (insert some brand of shit podcast) on my home screen but there’s no way to make it go away!

    It sucks that it even needs to be done, but on the desktop client at least there’s a program that I use to reskin Spotify and add plugins for functionality like blocking podcasts and audiobooks. If you wanna check it out it’s called Spicetify

    Same here. Now on top of playlists. And don’t get me started with the smart shuffle crapshitshow. Really. Who the fuck uses that piece of crap?
