    Night Shift by Stephen King wasn’t my first entry into horror, but it’s the one I can still recall the experience of reading it as a kid. It stuck in my memory.

    Mine is We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson. I love horror that is more psychological. Suspenseful gothic stories are my favorites.
