IDK, protecting medical data is pretty important, see this incident involving an attempted blood draw by police in Utah, which is a very conservative and police friendly state, yet the police settled for a massive payout and the legislature promptly clarified the law to ensure it was clear a warrant is needed.
I don’t know of any cases directly related to pharmacies, but I would honestly be surprised if that was somehow exempted from medical information protection laws. Then again, I’ve been unpleasantly surprised before…
