Especially Steel Path Interception where there’s a ton of enemies and they’re superfocused on capturing towers.
The only case where this isn’t true is a Sortie Interception with Eximus Fortress on, and very few maps that are too big for max range to cover, like the Earth map that’s suspended above a waterfall.
Let me explain:
- Divine Spears ragdolls targets, making their physical body disappear to the eyes of the game. This means that they won’t conflict with you when you capture a tower, even when they’re in range.
- Because of that, Ragdolled Infested are affected by the ability for its full duration, even when they were in range of an Ancient Disruptor which usually cuts it to 25%. This even works on Sentients, completely ignoring the diminishing returns on abilities.
- ALSO because of that, when the round is over, you can just deactivate Divine Spears if active to have enemies show up in the map as targets to kill, and then reactivate it to have all the red blips disappear. The enemies will be seen as killed already and the countdown to the next round begins.
Usually, on the 2nd round, the first tower capture attempt by the enemy will be done by an Eximus. For that, bring a gun with high damage to strip the Overguard.
I now have a reason to finally grab nez prime.
I like to have a frame for each game mode.
Currently:
Gara: ESO/Defense
Zephyr: Survival/Mobile Defense
Wu: Spy/Rescue
Wisp: any exterminate or little duck mission thats difficult
Hildryn: Hijack
Now Nezha for: Interception
I’d say Inaros is best for hijack, he can be nearly immune to all damage due to armor/DR and with arcane grace he is constantly at full health while driving the target. Since he cannot have shields, he drives the target with health instead.
