Not a mod for Beehaw but I didn’t realize that their decision to defederate would affect already subscribed to communities. Didn’t even realize what might’ve been wrong until I surprisingly enough got a notification about the issue!

Yeah, this is being caused by beehaw defederating with the instance, which, their call to make, I guess.
