    I guess I am at least for the foreseeable future while I give it a chance. I want to really try the experience so I can judge properly if Ill be going back to reddit or staying

    I’d also like to move from Reddit. How’s been your experience here so far (I’m new here)? I’ve also heard of criticisms against Lemmy.

      The amount of content definitely won’t match Reddit at this point, but surprisingly more than I expected.

      Time will tell.

        The UX is still rather clunky, but I hope that the now coming 3rd party apps will solve that.

        I’m certainly having high hopes for lemmy since it got a lot of things right. It certainly follows the ideology that Aaron Schwartz had. I’ll start posting on here more rather than Reddit.

    I don’t mind being present in this community, but I’ll still be active on the Thinkpad sub. I like assisting people with their pads and looking at information. They are the biggest hub I know of.
