Hello,
after installing lemmy in swarm the federated sites and communities are not syncing. especially /c/selfhosted and /c/Linux from lemmy.ml. Is this related to the instance overload ?
I’d wager this is due to the sheer volume of new users and new content and some of the instances needing to be scaled up to larger servers to handle it. A bit of growing pains, not unlike those experienced by Mastodon back last year.
funfact the post could be crossposted and the answer was synced. The only “part” my instance received from upstream 😅
I have no idea how lemmy prioritizes requests, so that definitely is weird
