It’s anxiety inducing. I find it like this when I think too much about the conversation, and have to force myself to stop analyzing every possible scenario.
That works until I say something stupid and decide I should be overanalyzing.
There’s a way to overcome this. IMO it comes from constant trauma because somehow we have (mis-)understood the others as judging us as stupid. Hence, we continue to be wrongly judgemental about ourselves. … Until we even fear our own judgement.
I was bullied as a teenager as ostensibly being “slow”. So i had learned that i was slow at comprehending. – Until someone told me that apparently my comprehension is more complex than that of others, so i was constantly processing more information and associations.
