It’s really something that I can browse by newest and actually read all the posts as they come in. I suppose this’ll be short-lived as more people come in, but I’m gonna take advantage of this while it lasts.
Enjoy it while it lasts. Create whatever magazines you want to see flourish early. Even if you don’t want to get stuck moderating it, I’m sure eventually those who were committed from Reddit will reach out.
Same. This feels like turning a new page in my internet using habits. I’m here to stay.
But it looks like Kbin might be hugged to death during the Reddit blackout. Also, the creator has set up temporary protection from DDoS that also inhibits federation. There also seem to be some interoperability issues between Kbin, Lemmy and Mastodon but I hope these will be fixed eventually and federation get into full swing. For example, as an Estonian migrating from r/Eesti, I’d like to see est.social’s posts under the Microblog tab but don’t yet know how to achieve that.
