Hello LemmyWorld! My name is Nicklas 🇸🇪, and I’ve been a Reddit user for almost 11 years, but I started getting disheartened when I found out that Reddit is shutting down Apollo and many other apps due to the extreme costs of Reddit’s API.

Hej, Nicklas! Similarly, reddit user for 8 years here. Also thought I would check out Lemmy after the reddit API announcement… Boost has been my go to app for many years. Will be interesting to see how the community grows if more people decide to dip their toes in the water of the fediverse.
