Yooo perfect!! I was bummed out a few days ago when I joined that there was no chess community.
Very much a noob here, haven’t played a single game against another person in a looooong time. Played maybe a hundred games as a teen against my dad and that’s it. Now I am reading up and watching videos etc, perhaps one of these days I’ll play against someone in lichess.
No reason to delay trying your luck on lichess. Start playing anonymously at first until you feel comfortable playing rated games with an account
Yeah I guess. I do have an account there with some puzzles done but that’s it. And few hakea against stockfish but it feels weird playing against it.
Resitance is futile against stockfish. Play real people with real weaknesses. And don’t quit after your blunders.
What Elo are you? not to judge just for making conversation.
No FIDE rating. Never played a formal OTB game. On Lichess I’m around 1650 rapid/classical, except blitz where I am 1400. Also, I don’t play rated games much. I prefer playing anonymously on Lichess most of the time. It feels more relaxed.
