Some officials say the agreement is a “vindication,” while others insist it was just the necessary move at this point in the war.

But the administration remains wary about Netanyahu’s endgame and seeming lack of a plan for what to do once Hamas is defeated. There was no sense that the pause would turn into a lengthier cease-fire, a senior administration official said. And there was some concern in the administration about an unintended consequence of the pause: that it would allow journalists broader access to Gaza and the opportunity to further illuminate the devastation there and turn public opinion on Israel.

Wtf? That’s some evil sh*t. You don’t want journalists to have access so they can accurately and truthfully report on what has happened, because it might make you look bad?

Ugh, Biden is such a POS.

Did you see the viral videos of the former state deparment guy who served under five presidents up until and including Obama? He went apeshit on some random middle eastern street food vendor calling him all sorts names, saying 4000 Palestinian dead kids wasn’t enough, and claiming that he’d send his picture to Egyptian authorities so they could “take care of” his family with a big smile on his face.

No idea why he let the mask drop in public now, but there is no way that his extreme convictions weren’t known to his colleagues all these years. I’m actually starting to understand why both the democrats and the republicans seem so oddly in tune with each other on this subject. That guy wasn’t a one-off lunatic, he was just the only one dumb enough to get himself filmed and put on the internet. Every time we get more information from what is being said behind the scenes it really shows.
