It’s my turn to set the Community Challenge for this week…

'Behold!
The God of Heart Transplants

Referencing Aztec mythology to re-imagine a once terrifying deity, into a healing one, who now guides surgeons in their work’

Theme

This weeks theme is ‘Old Gods, New Jobs’

Past civilizations had deity’s for everything, ones that helped explain natural phenomena, others that governed all aspects of everyday life… there was even one for door hinges

You are tasked with creating Gods/Goddesses for our modern life, they can be referenced from the past or be entirely new creations

Rules

  1. Follow the community’s rules above all else

  2. One comment and image per user

  3. Embed image directly in the post (no external link)

  4. Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged (we’re all here for fun)

  5. At the end of the week each post will be scored according to the following grid

    Theme is clear +1 point
OP’s favorite (me, this week) +1 point
    Most original +1 point

Maybe this is a bit too abstract but I decided to give Iansá a go with her heading up a fight for human rights.

Yoruba Supreme Being Iansá holds a copper sword overhead. She is a warrior and is unbeatable. Her mouth is open in a scream of of defiance. She is standing in front of a crowd of diverse peoples. They are attending a women's rally and hold aloft signs with messages of love and support. Colors: red, purple and rainbow, burgundy. --ar 16:9

I also took a stab at Anubis as an attorney before this one. I saw we already had an Anubis but wanted to share this anyway because I reeeeally like it.
