Even without saying it literally, Hamas is backed by Iran and they want to destabilize the middle east. Israel wants as much land as possible.
So the plan is Israel ask Hamas to attack them so they can retaliate and occupy more land. A win win situation.

I’d hesitate to compare an ongoing event with a lack of clear evidence to one in the past with a mountain of evidence and clear facts however. I really do hope that we will never reach a point where the events of the current Gaza-Israel war could be compared to the atrocities and horrors of WW2.

So there was a secret safe house under the hospital containing some weapons and evidence that someone had been tied up there in the past. Maybe that justifies surrounding the place with tanks and securing it.
So… now that’s been secured, what is the justification for not allowing it to continue to function. Are the IDF giving amnesty to all the displaced patients and giving them the medical aid they need?
