Hello, everyone! I was wondering if anyone here enjoys using Krita? I started using it about a month or two ago and it’s been a rather pleasant experience. The switch from Clip Studio Paint was smoother than I expected. It doesn’t have a fancy brush shop like CSP does, but the brush customization is more intuitive than I expected and the ones I’ve found on the forum are nice too.

i use it as my primary drawing software, although i don’t draw that much and don’t know my way around it very well. it’s very good, and i’m glad FOSS has a credible alternative in the space these days–previously i tried to use GIMP for this but to put it politely: i hate GIMP, and it has so many deficiencies it’s not even funny. (even GIMP defenders will admit this)

I use Krita on my GNU/Linux Trisquel. I am not an artist (yet) and I don’t know how to draw but I use the app when I’m bored. I still don’t know my way around the app but I think the app is very powerful for artists.

I plan to make a manga and draw anime there. I don’t know where to start tho since I’m a complete beginner. I bought a cheap drawing tablet but haven’t touched it since the end of 2022 lol.

I plan to draw as a hobby.

Besides Krita I also have MyPaint

Its become my go to art software for the past few years. I recommend it to everyone since its one of the better free art programs that I’ve found.
