      Sooner or later, yes. Nobody is immortal.

      Now being serious, it’s possible that a considerable portion of the population will die in climate related catastrophes. Famines, droughts, floods, heatwaves… we’ll see a lot of natural disasters. It’ll be gradual, though. One event here, another there. And it’ll get worse with time. By the end of the century, humanity may be in a delicate situation.

      Yes, but that’s not really the issue. I’m not the least bit afraid of death.

      What I do fear is the unreal, enormous amount of abject suffering coming our way. People fighting and killing each other over scraps or a few drops of water.

      Anyway, I’ll be checking out long before it gets that bad - and it will.
