Mozilla has added support for Google's Play Integrity API, known for blocking users of custom ROMs from accessing banking apps, to Firefox for Android.

It’s an unintended side effect that the majority of custom ROM users will appreciate.

      That’s the codename for Firefox Android.

      Mozilla did org.mozilla.fennec. The F-Droid people then did org.mozilla.fennec_fdroid. For trademark reasons, they can’t use the name “Firefox” in the UIs.

      It’s a build of Firefox by the F-Droid team. It is essentially identical to normal Firefox, except that you can install it via F-Droid, which is really nice!

      IronFox is a more privacy-minded option if you want that, I believe it’s a continuation of the “Mull” browser.
