Isn’t this the tree that’s so old that its pollinizers are beetles because bees didn’t exist by the time they came around?
That’s magnolias. This is the much older one that doesn’t even have pollinators because flowers didn’t exist yet.
Yeah, this one always causes me to pause for a second, even when I only see the leaf motive somewhere.
