You might wanna make sure that s is capitalised. Big difference between “Us hate groups” and “US hate groups”!
I like ambiguity for its own sake
Ms Tickle has been awarded $20,000 in damages in the case against the Giggle for Girls app and its CEO Sall Grover.
Full judgment here. One important detail not mentioned in the article is that Giggle will have to pay Tickle’s court costs, up to $100,000. ($50,000 each for the appeal and the cross-appeal.)
20’000, okay, how much did she have to pay up front to get to this point?
Not clear. She will be paid back up to $100,000 by Giggle for legal fees on top of that $20,000. And a quick search tells me she received a grant to help fund the case, in addition to lawyers who worked pro bono.
So really not a simple win: Years and a shit ton of money put up front… Who can afford that?
