I saw one of these guys at the lake as a kid and it scared the hell out of me! It was really unsettling encountering such a large bird that didn’t show any signs of fear. I tried to run at it because I was being a brat and it barely reacted. It just slowly turned its head to stare at me. Never ran back to camp so fast in my life lmao
