Is this the beginning of a new coalition of nations that can counter balance the desire to go to war that the most powerful nations of the world such as the US and russia cannot suppress? A desire for war supported by equally powerful nations such as China and India that cannot resist but inflame the war for their own interests even as they “stand on the sidelines” remaining “neutral”?

Or this rather this the beginning of Ukraine becoming rationalized into a broader World War?

The hopeful part of me says this Iran War is not what the Arab world wants in the region, no matter how people there feel about Iran, Israel, the US or russia, the Iran War is a blatant smash and grab on the future of the Arab world by the US and Israel and there is the chance this coalition building with Ukraine might lead to an ability to slow this escalation into a World War down. Ukraine can deliver that capacity by reducing the immediate mass terror threat of shaheds significantly and sustainably without necessarily driving escalation in the region, in turn Saudi Arabia can shift the global balance of power towards Ukraine singlehandedly with their geopolitical, economic and geographic power. Globally the tendency towards World War is reduced in theory.

A lot of this comes down to what Saudi Arabia chooses to do in this moment, whether it chooses an easy intimacy with the US and Israel in terms of regional power or Saudi Arabia chooses to refuse this crude invitation into regressing the entire region backwards into instability and war and work with powers like Ukraine to put the breaks on World War. No matter what happens Saudi Arabia would be foolish to think Israel will ever be its ally for long given the widespread villainization of muslims Israel is resorting to in order to shore up public support for the war on Iran and Gaza Genocide.

Something to remember, desalination technology has allowed the Middle East to experience a flourishing of growth, but it makes the Middle East uniquely vulnerable to mass terror attacks against water infrastructure whether from state or nonstate actors. Thus the expertise Ukraine has is probably no more valuable anywhere on Earth than the Middle East, which isn’t to say Ukraine shouldn’t defend Ukraine first but the bottleneck to drone production is money not heavy industrial capacity the way other machines of war are bottlenecked so Ukraine is supremely positioned here to make a globally historic impact while simultaneously fighting russia.

Also, a lot of people don’t really realize the scope of Saudi Arabia’s military. I will leave this list here as an example.
