Senators are discussing a proposal to end the Homeland Security budget stalemate by funding much of the department, but not ICE's enforcement and removal operations that have been central to the standoff.

Homeland Security needs to be abolished, the only part of it that is valuable is FEMA, everything else is worse than useless.

    Honest question: if every tsa person who was properly fed up without getting paid just quit, they would still get the pay for hours worked at some point, right? Because it’s gotta be guaranteed by law somewhere? Labor laws, anyone?

    If that’s a sure bet, why not cut their losses now and feel free to pursue another job knowing they’ll at least get what’s owed to them?

    Or am I that naïve and do lowly govt workers somehow have even worse labor protection than private companies on paper? Do rules not matter literally anymore anywhere ever?

    Either way though, quit while you’re ahead, folks
