The workers in Kenya say that it feels uncomfortable to go to work. They tell us about deeply private video clips, which appear to come straight out of Western homes, from people who use the glasses in their everyday lives.
Several describe video material showing bathroom visits, sex and other intimate moments.
As Zuckerberg himself once famously put it when Facebook was still a project he was running out of his dorm room:

Zuckerberg: Yeah so if you ever need info about anyone at Harvard
Zuckerberg: Just ask
Zuckerberg: I have over 4,000 emails, pictures, addresses, SNS
[Redacted Friend’s Name]: What? How’d you manage that one?
Zuckerberg: People just submitted it.
Zuckerberg: I don’t know why.
Zuckerberg: They “trust me”
Zuckerberg: Dumb fucks— Instant messages sent by Zuckerberg during Facebook’s early days, reported by Business Insider (May 13, 2010)
I mean, he’s right. The people who blissfully post everything online to a for-profit platform that only cares about privacy as far as they profit from ignoring it are dumb fucks.
I honestly can’t fathom people not expecting this when they buy an internet connected camera from Facebook and mounting it on their face.
Still, they should sue the shit out of them.
Probably a good way to record ICE and such, or any situation where you want as many witnesses as possible, but the Meta part of things counters all of that.
