    narrow aims

    • Kill a bunch of Iranian locals and broadcast the deaths via one of those grainy night vision videos. Insist everyone you killed was a Hamas terrorist.

    • Claim you have once again destroyed their nuclear program. Thank Israel for their support and invite Netanyahu to DC to celebrate.

    • Do a victory lap on cable news, bragging about how you won another war and deserve the next Peace Prize.

    • Ask Congress for another $100B in Pentagon spending, because you ran out of ships again. Name the next Aircraft Carrier the USS Melanie

    All very achievable.
