Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura, pictured here with a colleague, famously replied to one of Virginia’s requests with: “Why? I mean, we won. We took it. That’s makes it our heritage.”
Virginia paid for that flag with slave labor and exploitation. They had dozens made just the same, and it didn’t matter to them until they lost it.
Minnesota paid for that flag with blood. We were tasked with getting that flag, and so we did. We have exactly one.
It’s our heritage, our history. Virginia’s politicians spit on the memory of those Minnesotans every time they ask.

How’s the weather? Dreadful?
Today is too early to tell.
Well, yesterday was glorious.
But the last four weeks the weather was constant rain and snow. So, yeah, dreadful.
That picture makes it seem like those specific Minnesotans are the ones saying “No.” LOL Excellent.
Modena never gave the bucket back, Minnesota is under to obligation to either.
They should burn it at a huge event to send the message that the south will never rise again.
Isn’t it a better message to keep it locked up?
Perhaps burn it when civil war 2.0 starts and announce “we’ll just take another one”

Ritual burning is reserved for flags that deserve some respect.
