I think Haddock’s doing a jig, right? I always thought it was kinda cool when one of the characters started singing or dancing or stuff like that.
One of my earliest posts over at the ‘evil empire’ was sharing this image from Coke en stock (“Red Sea Sharks”):

Hey, I like this album a lot. For me, Hergé and his assistants were so dang-ol’ good at producing Tintin, that at this point that they could do a ‘bottle show,’ never leaving Marlinspike Hall, but still producing an amusing adventure that had some real tensions and mystery.
Oh, and sometimes across the ‘Tintinsphere’ you’ll see topics devoted to "who is the most hated / annoying character in the series, but Bianca rarely seems to get mentioned in those. (myself, I find her hilarious) Usually it’s more like Abdullah or Jolyon Wagg in those topics. Personally, it’s vastly moreso Wagg, as the annoying arsehole who never shuts up, always thinking that he has a golden tongue. Kinda like Ned Ryerson in “Groundhog Day”…
TIL that Benoît Peeters is mainly known as Hergé’s biograph lol. I only knew him for his work on “Les cités obscures”
Ha, that’s funny, I didn’t even know that he wrote his biography. I’ve actually never read les Cités obscures (I’ve been meaning to give it a try for years and I always forget), so I mainly know Peeters and Schuiten as “the people who decorated the Arts-et-Métiers station on line 11”.
As a child, I actually had a poster from Mary la penchée on my wall — during, like, ten years. It’s so stupid that I’ve never read it.
