I really like this series & find it unique & interesting, though I do not have Apple + streaming service & It is not yet downloading in order & all the episodes to my ‘PLEX’ service, so all I have watched are FIRST-2-EPISODES, SO PLEASE NO SPOILERS/NOTHING ABOUT EPISODES PAST 2ND.
I tried to post a thread with what people thought of the show & this thread’s topic, but it was dominated by with exchanging replies on what the repliers thought of the show.
Even though one those repliers, MotoAsh, & I debated a long time about the alien microscopic Beings effect on The Living Planet’s & thus All Living Beings ability to survive, I love that MotoAsh expressed (even if his effect was wrong) so strong of concern for things that matter most to me- The Living Planet’s & thus All Living Beings.
It lead me to discover the biggest problem with ‘The Pluribus’ series, is that in the real life if- Our stupid need to explore space & need for Rich-Super Rich Economic Classes/Owners to make profits/wealths over everything else, while on Earth there are huge, sick & evil problems that gets push aside.
SPOILER, IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN FIRST-2-EPISODES, From ‘The Pluribus’ series- microscopic Beings stowaway on spaceship back to Earth & they escape within a scientist, because she accidentally injects herself with some of them.
Then those microscopic Beings would take over, kill around 2-billion people & 12-people they could not take over & immediately set-out to solve ‘Global Warming’, ‘Overpopulation’-‘Overdensity’ & Etc., only to realize they are on a doomed planet/Living Planet & All Living Beings are going to good extinct. They then would immediately start building the space rockets or whatever to escape (with the bodies they taken over, what around 7-billion in total) the doomed planet. In reality this series would only have one-episode, & should have been made into a movie.
I think you need to go back and rewatch those episodes. There are no kidnapped microscopic beings.
Hell, there isn’t even a spaceship. It’s a DNA sequence encoded in a signal broadcast through space.
It bites our species in the BLANK when we decide to kidnap microscopic Beings back to Earth, with returning robots
Did we watch the same show? That is not what happened at all…
You are going to say they were stowaways? Fine, whatever you want, but they were doing science on them in the lab.
They weren’t “doing science” on them in the lab, they were creating them in the lab. They didn’t exist before that moment…
I would suggest watching the entire first season before making a judgement like that.
That really close to a spoiler,
No one really needs to, for that reason but I was going to watch the whole season any ways.
You should at least watch the first episode, because I don’t know what the fuck you did watch, but it wasn’t pluribus.
It’s not really a spoiler to suggest you watch the rest of the season? All I meant was the show may or may not address your concerns.
Around Episode 3, I had no clue where else the show was going to go, how it was going to tell its story. My concerns were squashed as I kept watching.
None of that happened in Pluribus. Maybe you dreamt it? There were no aliens, microscopic or otherwise.
