    I think that the moral of the story is that there’s a large, untapped market for games like The Sims with more sex-oriented stuff which is presently only being served by mod authors.

    And The Sims 3 and 4 are pretty expensive, if you include all the DLC (not even talking about the stuff available in in-app purchases).

    Looking at Steam, The Sims 3 is $400.

    The Sims 4 is $1,600.

    That is, they have a player base that is willing to spend quite a lot of money on adding content.

    I suspect that there’d be considerable commercial potential for more sexual content as well.

      Oh there absolutely is. Remember last year when MasterCard demanded game sellers to stop selling sex games?

      There are thousands of sex games out there that basically run on donations via patreon because they can’t make money otherwise.

      There is an untapped potential for games with sex elements, most of the shit on Steam or itchIO is either lowest effort, uninteresting or slop.

      Give me a quality game with sexy outfits, nudity or more and I’m interested.
