I tried all the clients that are out there and no matter good they felt alien as I was accustomed to using Boost on Reddit. Now that the lemmy client has come, it’s like I’m using reddit now. The only thing that bugs me is most communities didn’t move from reddit and I’d have to continue using the official shitty app to engage with them.
Also I wanna know whether this one time payment would be all to access all the features or does the dev intend to go the sync route and offer something like ultra tier?
This is what I use to sneak back into Reddit

Looks good but I’d have preferred an app.
You can take a crack at using Geddit I suppose, doesn’t use the reddit api so should keep working, but is in turn kinda janky as a result: https://github.com/kaangiray26/geddit-app
I’ll check it out. Ty.
There’s an “allowed” 3rd party app called Relay Pro that I sometimes use. Allowed because they were not using much API, supposedly (and also allowed to show ads by reddit now 🤔) Not sure if any others.
Relay is planned to move to a paid subscription, in order to support API costs.
Relay was always my favorite Reddit app, and considering how much I use it, I might end up paying (even though I’m trying to move away from Reddit).
I used to use Relay before using Boost. Have the paid for version in my library, but not gonna give reddit the traffic.
Ah sounds interesting. Ty.
I just use Boost.
Holy shit, this is what I’ve been needing for reddit since the API changes!
I can once again filter out whole subreddits, words, and emojis!
Yeah, it’s amazing.
