Nah it was actually a massive success as long as you don’t believe Bush’s lies about the reason for the invasion. The US military-industrial complex made a ton of money, the whole region was destabilised for decades, the US gained control over Iraqi oil, and it helped preserve the USD as the global currency for a bit longer.
